Axial Attitude Estimation of Spacecraft in Orbit Based on ISAR Image Sequence

Attitude estimation is a significant task for monitoring noncooperative spacecraft in orbit. Inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) an effective method to obtain the structure, size, and attitude of spacecraft. Most existing methods based on ISAR images generally rely characteristic point matching or rectangular feature among images. They often need high quality images, so robustness usually poor. A novel estimating spacecraft's axial image proposed this article. This does not utilize simulation database, match sequence specific features, it has good robustness. Our bridges Range-Doppler parameters with accommodation orbit geometric projection model. Based imaging turntable model, accurate position plane derived.
